Workout of the Day: Legs

Another leg workout for you! I promise I'll post other body parts but since I do legs at least 2x a week I've got lots of workouts up my sleeve! This one has more of a hamstring focus while of course still hitting those flutes too. This particular workout is higher reps and a little less weight but gosh did it leave me SO sore. 


Leg press 4 x 15 
Walking lunges- long strides- 3 x 15 
Cable deadlifts- 4 x 15 
Curtsy lunges 4 x 15 
Single leg lying leg curl 3 x 12 
Abductor machine- back off the pad 4 x 20

  1. Love it! What amount of weight are you typically using? And do you need to go down slightly from when you've done 8-10 reps?

    1. Yes I drop my weight a bit to make it through all the reps-- I did 90lbs on leg press, 40lb barbell on my back for lunges, 60, 70, 80, 80 for deadlifts, body weight on the curtsy lunges, 20lbs on the leg curl and I think 130 for abductor :)

  2. Do you do anything for calves and if so what day do you add them in?

    1. ehh-- I'd say I work them every other week or so on leg day. To be honest I forget about them… oops!

    Would you mind possibly posting a video of Cable deads? Never seen then done and thinking these might be easier on my back then regular deads.
