What I Ate Wednesday & A Little Clarification

First, thank you for reading and commenting on my post yesterday-- I did want to clear something up though. Perhaps I should have used a different, more light hearted word, but I certainly don't look at myself as a failure because I had [fails] or [slip ups] or [cheats] or however else you want to describe falling off the wagon. The point I wanted to get across was to visually show just how many times I messed up over the weekend, and that by the time I wrote the post, I was feeling like myself again and I was back on track. Personally, I like to live by the "no excuses" rule because really, you can  stay on track 100% of the time if you really wanted to-- but I just wanted to be transparent and show that even when you are someone who puts in the effort to be at the top of your game at all times, life happens.

Anyway, don't want to beat a dead horse so let's get to the eats!

M1- Yam, egg white, and veggie scramble
M2- Protein shake with oats, 1/4 banana, and pumpkin- So good! (no picture)
M3- Cottage cheese with almond flour pumpkin muffins- recipe next week?
M4- Turkey zucchini burger, yams, and green beans
M5- Taco salad with almond cheese
M6- Breakfast for dinner! Veggie egg white scramble and coconut flour pancakes!

That breakfast dinner looks SO YUMMY!! Can't wait for that Almond flour muffin recipe.

On a different note I was wondering..I believe I have developed a intolerance to whey and decided to try Jay Robbs egg white protein powder. Let's just say I am so thankful for sample packs. Blah. However, the good news is that my stomach didn't bloat. So, I was wondering if you have tried any other protein powders without whey that you might recommend? I have some sun warrior samples coming hopefully that is better only Sun Warriors is quite expensive :0(. Any suggestions?

    Thanks girls!!

  5. Random question, but what do you do with your banana when you don't eat the whole thing? When I only use part of a banana, the rest of it goes bad FAST!

    1. I peel the leftover banana and freeze it. Then use it later in a smoothie or banana loaf or something like that. It will go really brown but when it defrosts it is nice and soft and perfect for this type of use.

  6. Hey B! I gotta tell thank you for posting your recipes and workouts they help me so much! Quick question what protein do you use for baking and in your post-workout shakes? I've been using sunwarrior but it doesn't taste very good baked. Do you use the same protien for baking and in your shakes?
