What I ate Wednesday- almost normal!

I finally feel like this weeks What I Ate Wednesday is a little more back to normal. You'll probably notice there are still a few of my staples missing, but I'm slowly starting to bring everything back. This week I bumped my calories up another 100 and will continue to do so probably twice more until I'm at 1600 ish.

I made this breakfast on a whim, just woke up and felt like it! It's a crepe I guess-- just 1 T coconut flour and 3 egg whites and then I topped it with greek yogurt, cinnamon, and Kal Stevia. Yams on the side. Such a random combo but it was delish.

Can you believe I'm not sick of yams?! I honestly can't get enough! Anyway, I had a protein shake and yams post workout.

A newer obsession of mine is rice cakes with peanut butter. I honestly think I could eat 100 but I just had one with 3 of my broccoli egg white muffins. I know you guys want this recipe, I knooooow. I suck. I'll get it up soon!

Ahhh!! My Fav!!! Clean pizza for lunch :) My stomach wasn't happy with me after this because the store was out of Lactaid cottage cheese so I just got regular. Bad choice on my part.

Afternoon snack was some ground turkey with taco seasoning and avocado. Simple. And yum.

And lastly, if you follow me on Instagram you probably already saw this, but it was phenomenal. Bison burger with sauteed onion and jalepeno on top and broccoli florets and a side salad. Clean eating can be delicious! :)

As always the eats look soooo good!!! Wish my food looked that yummy :0).

Couple of random questions for you:
    1. While bulking up do you find our tops a little more snug like in the shoulder and arms? I am noticing this with me (no change in body weight) and hoping it's because my shoulders/arms are developing.

    2. When it comes to sodium and sugar what macros do yo try to follow? I want to try the Lactaid CC but it seems like a lot of sodium to me. I usually stick to low sodium kinds.

    3. Are you still going to continue with JW program or go back to your own routines?

Okay I think all for know LOL! Thank you in advance and have a wonderful Wednesday!

    1. Hello there! I didn't notice that, but I'm sure it's a good sign! I honestly don't count my sodium, I just always opt for the low sodium version of things and rarely salt my food. For sugar I just follow the pre and post workout only for fruits rule, and if I want carrots or something else that tends to have a little more sugar I don't worry about it too much. Fruit is where it really creeps up on you. As far as routines, right now I'm loosely following James plan, I'll probably pick back up at week 13 here pretty soon :)

  6. This may sound silly but I have read a lot on it and he heard from others this happens...but do the palms of your hands get yellow/orangish when you eat a lot of yams or other veggies? I LOVE veggies. Eat them with meals and snack on them in between if I'm hungry. I heard the excess carotene causes the color..but what I am scared of Is that most veggies with this high carotene also have high vitamin A..especially yams.. And It may be a sign of vitamin A toxicity

    1. I haven't noticed that at all, but I'm not really eating THAT many yams... only about 8oz a day, it just seems like a lot!

  7. Yum! Loooove taco seasoning, I could probably put it in my oatmeal and love it. Okay...no, but oatmeal is another one of my favs. Don't EVEN get my started on rice cakes w/PB...a sentence with (healthy) cake and PB in it? I'm so in.

By the way: Your photo shoot pics look amazingg congrats and I'm so happy for you. :) :)
