The Traveling 6 Pack Bag!

Now that I'm officially 3 weeks away from my shoot, my 6 pack bag sure has been getting used a lot! Last weekend I had a ton of running around to do and it was a life saver-- so much easier to just have everything with me versus planning to go home to eat. I packed it up again yesterday when we went to a Cubs spring training game!

I didn't really think it through beforehand but a baseball game is probably not the best place to go when you are getting ready for a photo shoot (FYI). Beer, burgers, fries, hot dogs, and beer everywhere. We are going to another game the day of my shoot and you better believe I'll be having one of those beers! (Not so much on the hot dogs and fries though, I still have to be ready for Monika's bachelorette!)

B was nice enough to walk back to the car with me when it was time to eat and he said I looked so "cute" eating my meal. I told him to take a picture so it would last longer, and he did.

It ended up being a really fun day that ended at my sisters soccer game, and the 6 pack came in handy there too :)

I finished up the day with some meal prep. It's actually kind of nice because as the shoot gets closer my food gets more boring, which ultimately means an easier food prep!

Yams, a crap ton of roasted veggies, grilled chicken, spaghetti squash (not pictured) and egg/veggie muffins are all ready for the week. I had to throw in my picture of green tea because I drink a Trenta every day and think I might be a little addicted...

Have a great week!!

  1. Hi Little B, is our 6pack bag the large or small? I'm considering getting one as I take food myself and my 3yr old when we are out and about during the day and I'm sick of carrying so many bags!

    1. I have the smaller one (holds 3 tupperware) and it's still pretty big!

Oh I want a 6 pack bag (and a 6 pack LOL) soooo bad!! I have been hinting at one during the holidays but my family can't quite understand why I want a "lunch" box as a gift LOL! If only they knew.

Couple questions on your food prep. I have fallen in LOVE with baked veggies and was wondering how many days you keep yours for, do you use fresh or frozen and how do you season them? Also, Have you ever tried Kabocha squash? OMG i recently have become completely addicted and switch between that and spaghetti squash. The kabocha makes a yummy thickener to turkey chile. YUM!! Or baked with salmon.

Looking totally fit and fab and hey your even making JW Jealous ;0). SCORE!!!!!

    1. I season with garlic powder, pepper, and sea salt and they usually stay good about 5 days. I've heard so much about kabocha but I haven't tried it, I need to!

  5. Hi Brittney,
Another fabulous post! Thank you again. I've been wondering this, do you count the carbs in veggies for your calorie allotment? I have been, and frankly I think my carbs are too low; after a few days I have to binge due to lack of carbs.
    So, do you count them?

  7. Hi Brittany! I've got a question about your egg/veggie muffins. I know you are lactose intolerant, as am I. Some people add milk to eggs to make them fluffier, I'm assuming you don't, is there anything you've found that will create the same effect? Or are they just eggs & veggies?
    Thanks!

    1. They're just eggs, veggies, garlic powder, salt and pepper. You could probably try almondmilk though!
