This WIAW is going to be a quick one, but I wanted to show you that I've switched up my meals juuuuust a little bit.

Breakfast was overnight oats instead of the usual Apple Protein Muffins and PWO was greek yogurt with berries instead of a shake. I'm not sure that I'm quite ready to give up my shakes yet, but I felt like whole foods after my workout yesterday so I just went with it!
Morning snack was pretty normal- more greek yogurt and cinnamon toast, and lunch was my chicken fried rice with lots of Sriracha. I finished off the day with chicken and asparagus and a huge almond flour pancake with what do you know, more greek yogurt on top.
Looking back on this, I probably shouldn't be eating Greek Yogurt 3x a day. Woops. Live and learn. :)
Was PWO 1 C and your snack 1/2C?
ReplyDeleteAre you doing the almond pancake instead of casein? How did you make it?
Looks yummy!
PWO was 3/4 and snack 1/2 :) Yes, I didn't do casein last night- if you search almond flour pancake in my search bar you should find it :)
DeleteNo cottage cheese? Lol
ReplyDeleteHaha I know! Crazy!
DeleteDo you use Ezekiel bread for your toast?
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteLittle B, do you always count calories? If so, about how many do you consume? I count calories everday and find it pretty taxing someimtes. Also, do you always eat the same amount of carbs, protein and fat each day or do you switch it up?
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your inspiration and advice.....especially the declious recipes!!!
No, actually I vary rarely do.. but if I had to guess it's around 1800, probably a little less now that I'm focusing on leaning out.
DeleteHi Little B, I thought I read that you're sensitive to lactose? If this is the case how/why do you incorporate so much Greek Yogurt into your diet? I also have a milk sensitivity but looove greek yogurt SO much.
ReplyDeleteGreek yogurt actually contains only about 5% lactose and it also has probiotics in it-- so depending on how bad your sensitivity is, you may be able to eat it.
DeleteI am in week 5 of JW's program and I LOVE it! I hear that results really start popping around week 6 so I am super pumped and motivated! Do you workout in the AM? I do, and bc of James recommendations, I cut out the carbs (except veggies) after meal 4...I would LOVE to have a pancake at meal 6 (drool!!) Sometimes I just don't feel like cottage cheese, casein or egg whites before bed. Any other suggestions for M6?
ReplyDeleteHi Angie- I do work out in the morning.. these are almond flour pancakes not oat flour :)
DeleteHi Brittany! Can I get your chicken fried rice recipe?
