Supplement Vlog!

I always get nervous before doing videos, you know, because there are so many people around watching me do it....and by so many people I mean no one because I was home alone. It's always a little weird talking to yourself but I hope this helps those of you wondering what supplements to get. Happy Friday!

Please remember I'm not an expert of any kind, this is just what works for me!

  1. Thanks, Brittany! What are your protein powders sweetened with? Stevia? I'm looking for a lactose free, gluten free, sugar and artificial sweetener-free variety. Thanks!

    1. Unfortunately sucralose is the last ingredient. Have you checked out Only Protein?

  2. Thanks for doing this!! I take most of those but Casein. What is the point of that supplement?

    1. Casein is a slow digesting protein, so it's great before bed because it takes about 7 hours to digest so your body is fed all night long.

  3. Thanks for this helpful info! I think you've written before that you take a digestive enzyme...is there any brand that you recommend? I'm on my second type of digestive enzyme and feel like it's more helpful than the first I tried but really doesn't seem to make too much of a difference. I don't take them after every meal; usually only if I'm eating veggies. I've gotten both kinds at a health food store. If you have any recommendations, I'd love to know! Thank you!

    1. Hi Rachel!

I didn't include a probiotic or digestive enzyme in this because to be honest, I haven't found anything that works really well, for me anyway. I'm going to keep searching though and will definitely post about it if I find something!

  13. Hi I was wondering if the Amino Energy has alot of caffeine in it? I need to find a good pre workout supplement, but I am scared to use one that makes me jittery or makes my heart beat too fast.

  14. Hey! What is the brand of your adrenal supplement, and do you just take it as prevention? I have been trying to research it to determine if it's a good prevention strategy, or should only be taken if issues are diagnosed... I would like your opinion. I read Michelle Lesuer's info too. thanks! p.s. regarding brenna328's post, I use Amino Energy as well and I don't find it gives me any jitters or heart-racing stuff whatsoever.

  16. Hi brittany ,

If you would have to choose between the amino energy and BCAA for your workout what would you take?

    Thanks :)

  17. You will definitely want to take them with food and lots of water. One thing you will notice after taking them, your body will want water and lots of it. Throughout the entire day I feel a noticeable rise in energy as if I had a really dark cup of coffee.

  19. Great supplement recommendations one supplement I take that I rarely see recommended on any site is something called Lowerol it contains red yeast rice and is a good way to keep cholesterol levels in the normal range,  I know most people who work out don't have cholesterol levels but mine is hereditary so I need to take something.
