What a Weekend!

I am now on day 4 of my 24th year of life, and I feel sooo lucky. 24 is going to be a great year I can already tell! I was SO spoiled all weekend long it was a little crazy (okay not really, I loved every minute of it.) My [actual] birthday started off with some cardio and I came home to B cooking breakfast for me... for some reason it always tastes better when someone else is doing the work!

Then I got to open my presents which were the Nike shorts that I've been wanting and a new pair of black Ugg boots that I think I've worn every day since Thursday. Yes, I know it was in the mid 70s all weekend, so what! Another thing I love about birthdays is flowers, now my dining room table looks bea-utiful.

Thursday night we went to dinner at one of my favorite steakhouses- The Keg. We started off with a couple dirty martini's. Mine is on the left with no olives... I love olive juice but not so much on the olives themselves.

We shared a wedge salad with ginger dressing and a baseball steak with veggies and a twice baked potato. You can pick your jaw up off the floor, I didn't eat the potato :)

We got to enjoy a long weekend because we both took Friday off of work. We went to see Twilight, which by the way was perfectly amazing just as I expected it to be, then B planned a birthday dinner with friends as a surprise to me! I've never had a surprise party and have always wanted one, so I was super excited.

Saturday was full of football and friends-- we tailgated and watched the ASU vs. U of A game at ASU and on Mill Ave. {We will not discuss the outcome of the game}

As if that was not enough of a fun filled weekend, we capped it off last night by going shooting with my sister and her boyfriend. I've been wanting to go for a while now and it was so much fun! I still can't believe I've shot a gun now, kinda crazy!

Needless to say, I drank more than I have in the last 6 months combined and wasn't 100% clean over the weekend and am paying for it now. Super sluggish this morning and my stomach is so out of whack... I had a blast but it's nice to be back to real life :)
