There is no better feeling than being back in your own bed after traveling. Okay, maybe I lied... It was almost just as good to be back in a real gym!

Speaking of the gym, I was a dummie and left my keys at home when I left for my trip, so I ended up going straight from the airport to the gym to kill some time before B got off work. I had already eaten all the food I packed, (crazy, I know!) so I was forced to get food at the airport. I was plenty early for my flight (because I'm super anal and get the airport at least 2 hours before my flight...) so I did some exploring to see what my options were. I literally couldn't find ANYTHING. I ideally needed something with carbs and protein since it was going to be my pre-workout meal and there was just nothing that was going to work! So, as a last ditch effort I perused Jamba Juice's menu and saw that there was the option to add Whey protein to any of their shakes. They also have oatmeal, so I put two and two together and had them make me oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder, and banana's for quick energy. (The man working there did let me know no one had ever ordered their oatmeal that way... Thanks for making me feel like a weirdo!)
The only downside to this was 1. I have no idea what kind of protein powder they use and 2. the oatmeal was made with soy milk. Anyway, this is the best I could have possibly done, and it was a far better pre-workout meal than a burger and fries :) After the gym B's family and I went out to dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant (amazing), and today it's back to the grind! Can't wait to re-stock our empty fridge this weekend and get some 'real' workouts in now that I'm back in my wonderfully large gym!!
